Wolf Kahn has stated that one of his favorite artistic mediums is the monotype because the combination of techniques showcases both his drawing and painting skills. This technique involves applying ink washes to zinc plates and then drawing over top with ink crayons. This creates painting with the transparency of the soft washes and their contrast with the density of thick dark inks.
Wolf Kahn style ranges from realism to Abstract Expressionism. His work is in the collections of over twenty-four major public institutions and has been exhibited internationally for over sixty years.
