Stay and Play with us, 2023
Acrylic on linen
2 x (72 x 60 inches)
About the painting :
"Stay and Play with us" suggests a message from the universe, encouraging playfulness, creativity, adaptability while navigating life's challenges and finding balance in the midst of chaos. As Rumi beautifully wrote, "The wound is the place where the light enters you", struggles and challenges can lead to profound inner growth and understanding.
Organic shapes in constant movement illustrate perfection within imperfections. The central figures are playing with multiple dimensions. They captivate the admiration of ancient scholars through a window filled with light. Like a snow globe, they exist in their own world, symbolizing diverse stages of consciousness progressing individually. The universe is a unified entity and consciousness is omnipresent.
The left entity plays music with all that is, while the right one gazes at herself in the mirror, revealing diverse worlds intertwined, implying internal and external echoes. In the words of Hermes Trismegistus, 'That which is Below corresponds to that which is Above, and that which is Above corresponds to that which is Below, to accomplish the miracles of the One Thing.'
This diptych comprising two 72x60 inch canvases attached to form a single scenery, delves into the biology of consciousness. Memory cells are repositories of world memories, and we are in constant motion as consciousness evolves without judgments. Creativity is the driving force, extending an invitation to spread peace and divine light through dualities, while traveling in space and time where beauty and the unknown deeply nourish us.
