An ethereal interpretation of a “Looking Glass” gives the impression of peering into an infinite explosion of color. The ribbons of metallic pigments simulate the illusion of a multi-dimensional space, attempting to create a curious, dream-like experience of traveling between worlds.
The Aurora Borealis Series: Wanting to capture the essence of this natural phenomenon, the Aurora Borealis series was created, a body of work that has an other-worldly feel. Krutick uses dynamic gestures with giant splashes of color—often defined by exploding pools of purples, pinks and blues—to symbolize feelings of excitement that she experiences when exploring her creative spirit. Krutick states, “like the Aurora Borealis, when I create, my spirit soars, sweeps, sparkles, and is unafraid to shine.”
